My Philosophy

I believe that lessons should focus on what excites you about music. I believe learning to play an instrument should be enjoyable. Therefore, I always strive to choose material that relates to my students interests, and is suited to their skill level.   Music theory and more academic elements will be applied as they relate to the chosen material, as well as the student's appetite for such things. In my 10 years of experience, I have learned that no two students are alike in the way that they learn, so my lessons are tailored to each individual. Overall, I want to help you achieve your musical goals, no matter what they are, and I will do my best to make it an enjoyable journey!
